In this role within Origination and Advisory (O&A) Business Line AFC (BLAFC), your primary role responsibility is supporting the business and operations comply with laws, regulations, rules, expectations of regulators, the standards of self-regulatory organisations, and codes of conduct/ethics in connection with the Bank’s regulated activities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Global Head of O&A BLAFC to enable meaningful and proactive advisory and oversight of the O&A business and to uplift the AFC framework and culture within O&A
  • Act as an AFC point of contact for the O&A business globally and coordinate risk assessments of other AFC functions (country/regional BLAFC, Anti-Fraud Bribery & Corruption and Sanctions & Embargoes) as well as represent AFC in related risk forums
  • Continuous communication and exchange with the local, regional, and global AFC network
  • Act as a O&A product subject matter expert within the AFC function
  • Drive global initiatives to improve risk management processes, policy and controls which directly/indirectly relate to the O&A Business

Your skills and experience

  • AFC expertise demonstrated by broad understanding of international Financial Crime rules and regulations
  • Experience in providing financial crime advisory services particularly in assessing client and transactional risk exposures to senior business and AFC stakeholders
  • Experience in capital markets businesses and products globally
  • Excellent collaboration skills across multiple jurisdictions. Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • Strategic and collaborative problem solving and proven analytical skills
